Jiuyi develops, manufactures and supplies microbial cultures, biological and enzymatic deodorising agents, and bio-based oilfield additives. Production runs in-house, from strain selection through fermentation and formulation.
Founded in 2014 and based in Zibo, Shandong, China, the company works across environmental improvement, polluted water treatment and oilfield biological additives — three lines built on the same fermentation and formulation base. We supply municipal and industrial wastewater plants, sanitation operators, livestock farms and oilfield service companies.

Research and development
Strain and formulation capability rests on three things: an in-house strain library, a technical team drawn from established research institutions, and joint development platforms with universities.
Strain library
200+ proprietary strains are held in-house. Compound microbial preparations are formulated to a viable count of 5×10⁹/g. Key strains and glycolipid surfactants are fermented in-house, not purchased and blended.

Joint development
A joint R&D platform with China University of Petroleum (East China) supports the oilfield additive line, where field pilot well groups have been established in the Shengli and Changqing oilfields. Microbial enhanced oil recovery work with the company has reported a recovery improvement of 8–15 percentage points in the tested reservoirs.
