Remote diagnosis
Send your water or operating data, process parameters and site photographs. We return a preliminary judgement and adjustment advice.
Technical service
We survey your conditions, design and validate a programme, and stay on it until the target moves — service that does not end at the point of sale.
Beyond supplying cultures and additives, 91bio provides field technical service: we survey your operating conditions, design a treatment or recovery programme, validate it, and stay on it until the target parameter moves. The service does not end at the point of sale.
Most of what we sell is chosen against your data rather than lifted from a catalogue, and the same applies to the service around it. If the constraint on your site is hydraulic, structural or regulatory rather than biological, we will say so — you will not be sold a programme that cannot solve the problem.
Six programme types spanning wastewater, water-body restoration, odour control and oilfield recovery.
| Service | Typical situation | What we deliver |
|---|---|---|
| Biological system start-up | New or expanded wastewater plant; activated-sludge, biofilm or anaerobic reactor | Strain screening, dosing and start-up commissioning to shorten culture build-up and the time to reach discharge compliance. |
| Culture dosing programme | Operating plant with unstable COD removal, nitrification or sludge | Strain selection, dose and dosing frequency matched to your water quality, process type and load. |
| Black-odorous water treatment | Rivers, canals and ponds with sulphide odour and black sediment | In-situ remediation, sediment reduction and a follow-up water-ecology maintenance plan. |
| Odour control programme | Transfer stations, wastewater plants, farms and rendering sites | An odour-source survey and a combined botanical-extract plus microbial treatment scheme. |
| Well-by-well programme | Gas wells with liquid loading, wax deposition, corrosion or declining output | A per-well deliquification and additive plan built on that single well's condition, not a field-wide average. |
| Biological cold production (MEOR) | Heavy-oil and marginal reservoirs | A microbial enhanced oil recovery scheme with laboratory evaluation and a field trial before scale-up. |

When a project calls for it, our technicians attend start-up, dosing commissioning and troubleshooting in person.
Periodic revisits against your operating cycle to track the indicators and optimise the dosing as conditions change.
Technology backed by a certified high-tech enterprise with 10+ granted patents in microbial and enzymatic technology.
Own fermentation and formulation capacity — the culture in your programme is produced by the same team that designed it.
A decade of microbial technology work across municipal wastewater, livestock and oilfield applications.
Every programme starts from measured data and, where needed, a trial — we do not apply a generic template to your site.
Coverage, remote versus on-site, start-up timing, the basis of a programme and how service is charged.
Programme-based service — survey, design and dosing plans — is available to customers in any market; we work from your data remotely and only travel when a project genuinely needs it on site. For on-site attendance we coordinate technicians around the project location and schedule.
Both. We usually start with a remote assessment based on your water or operating data, process parameters and site photographs, and send technicians on site only when start-up, commissioning or troubleshooting requires it.
It depends on influent volume, process type, water temperature and how biodegradable the raw water is. The programme sets out the culture dosing rhythm and the indicators to watch; the actual time to compliance is confirmed against how your plant runs, so we do not quote a fixed number of days before seeing your data.
Measured field data and your operating conditions. Where the answer is not clear from the data alone, we confirm it with a laboratory bench-scale test or a field trial before fixing the route, the culture or additive combination and the dosing parameters. We do not apply a generic template.
Initial selection advice and a preliminary technical judgement are free. Where a programme has to be written up, or on-site attendance or long-term tracking is required, it is priced by scope, duration and project size — agreed with you before work starts.
Send the water quality or the operating parameters and receive a preliminary technical judgement first — then decide whether on-site service is warranted.
